Day 1: Prague
Get to know your trip mates and start the day with a walking tour of Prague; its gorgeous Christmas markets, stunning bridge and awesome vibe. The afternoon is free for you to explore so get festive amongst the traditional stalls and crafts of the Christmas market, visit one of the city’s museums or chill out with a super cheap beer at one of the cosy bars and pubs in town before our welcome party this evening, for the chance to get to know your guide and trip mates and party your socks off on the first night of our trek.
Day 2: Prague - Cesky Krumlov
From the teaming streets of Prague to the medieval jewel of Cesky Krumlov today, with its gorgeous cobbled streets, chilled out bohemian vibe and super festive feel. On arrival we’ll head out in to town for a walking tour and time to explore before enjoying dinner in the old town and a chance to celebrate the last working day before Christmas with the locals.
Day 3: Cesky Krumlov - Vienna
Head even further into the East today as we cruise towards Vienna and a trip to the Schnapps museum for a real taste of the spirit of Vienna. Austria celebrates Christmas tonight and we’ll make like locals and cook up a traditional feast, then there's the chance to head to Midnight Mass to hear the most spell binding version of silent night ever, sung in one of the most jaw dropping venues in the world.
Day 4: Vienna Christmas Day
Wake up to a Viennese Christmas today, as we spend the morning exploring and sipping coffee in the decadent coffee houses of the first district before we head to the wine region of the Viennese hills for a feast of locally produced food, awesome wine and a warm and cosy evening celebrating amongst your trip mates.
Day 5: Vienna - Budapest
From Vienna we head in to stunning Slovakia for a wander through the cobbled streets and lunch in the capital, Bratislava. Then it’s on to Budapest, pearl of the Danube, for an evening meal of goulash and a night cruise down the River Danube with Karaoke and photo ops galore as we explore this stunning city by boat.
Day 6: Budapest
Boxing Day in Budapest, and a free day for you to explore. Check out the Boxing Day sales and take advantage of the awesomely cheap prices or warm up and relax the afternoon away in the thermal baths. Take a walking tour or our hop on, hop off coach tour, try out the underground caving or chill out in the café-district; whatever you fancy today is yours to discover the wonders of Budapest and your guide has all the info to make sure you make the most of your time in this amazing city.
Day 7: Budapest - Zakopane
Today we leave Budapest and head for the stunning Polish Alps for some festive fun and revelry on the slopes. Zakopane is our destination, a gorgeous Alpine village in the heart of the mountains, and on arrival we’ll check in to our cosy chalet and then check out the slopes before a delicious BBQ to finish off our first night in this winter wonderland.
Day 8: Zakopane
The slopes lie ready and waiting today, so check out the powder and spend today discovering the Alps at their Christmassy best. More in to the Après-ski? Head in to stunning Zakopane town and soak up the vibe of the little shops, cafes and bars in town before heading back to delicious goulash, hot wine, a crackling fire and an evening relaxing with your trip mates.
Day 9: Zakopane - Krakow
One of the most stunning cities in Eastern Europe; Krakow is our destination today with a stop at Auschwitz, the most infamous Nazi concentration camp of the Second World War, en route. Here we’ll take a guided tour with an expert guide to better understand the tragic events that occurred before heading on towards Krakow. The city is famous amongst the jet set of Europe for having the most awesome underground party scene in the East with everything your club-hopping heart could desire, from the best Vodka to the most incredible clubs, and tonight we’ll head in to the old Jewish quarter Kazimierz for some live music and great food to get us warmed up for tomorrow and a New Year like no other…
Day 10: Krakow
We start the day with a walking tour of Krakow, taking in all the tops sights including the stunning castle district, Jewish quarter and the gorgeous old town. Then the afternoon is yours to explore and get ready for tonight, with our New Year celebrations at the awesome Diva night club; an incredible venue for the best New Year party ever!
