Thermal baths and Castles
Described as the Paris of the east, this is one of the liveliest cities in Europe. It has such a dynamic attitude and an amazing look and feel, most of the buildings need a serious dose of TLC but the raw beauty cannot be overlooked. The city is split by the Danube with the imposing castle district of Buda on one side with the more commercial lively Pest on the other. The city hosts some of the largest festivals in Europe such as Sziget or the Red bull air race. You can crawl through the underground world beneath Budapest in its caving system, sulk the evening away in a thermal bath or just party until you can no longer.
We have great friends in Budapest who will ensure you have a top time here. On arrival we offer a night boat cruise after dinner and a free day to really get into this city.
> Top sights – Buda castle, the food markets on the Gellert Bridge, the thermal baths, caving tours, cruising on the Danube at night, the shops on Andrassy, the opera, the 7th district, Margret island, the biking along the Danube, and the clubs.
