Church of Human Bones

Day 1 : Prague - Kutna Hora - Olomouc

From Prague to Kutna Hora, where we’ll visit the world’s grisliest church - made of human bones and inspiration for Dungeons and Dragons and Rob Zombie (it’s that creepy…) After lunch we’ll hit the road again for Olomouc, the little known gem that is the Moravian Capital.  Full of churches, castles, a kicking uni student scene and awesomely cheap prices; tonight it’s our epic aeroplane party and the chance to kick back and get to know your group in the coolest venue ever!

Horse & Kart Krakow

Day 2 : Olomouc - Auschwitz - Krakow

An emotional experience awaits today as we go to Auschwitz, the Nazi death camp.  With guided tours of both Auschwitz and Birkenau, the tragic events that took place will be explained by an expert guide to ensure we can better understand the past, and we’ll take our time before moving on to Krakow, the Polish capital, for an evening of traditional cuisine before a night out in one of the best underground clubbing scenes around…

Day 3 : Krakow

Stunning Krakow, with its lively markets, gorgeous old town and historical and diverse districts, comes alive before your eyes today as we head out on a bike tour with a local guide, then there’s free time in the afternoon when you can kick back and relax in one of the chilled out cafes or discover some of the sights, sounds and scenes that make Krakow, city of Schindler’s List, truly unique.

Traditional Rafting

Day 4: Krakow - Zakopane

From Krakow to Zakopane; an Alpine paradise and our base for one night.  With hiking, sightseeing and taverns galore this is a chilled out village with some of the best scenery around, and whether it’s hiking or relaxing you fancy there’s something for everyone.  With the kind of hunger only fresh air and sightseeing can bring tonight there’s an Alpine BBQ, where you’ll taste local food and catch up with your trip mates against one of the most beautiful backdrops in the East.

Budapest River Ride

Day 5: Zakopane - Budapest

Today we get on the road to Budapest, the awesome party capital of Eastern Europe!  With a stop in the Tatra Mountains of Slovakia for lunch, we’ll arrive in the late afternoon for a night of Hungarian food, a gorgeous Danube River cruise and a visit to some local pubs before clubbing the night away in some of the best venues in town.

Budapest Hero Square

Day 6: Budapest

Beautiful Budapest is yours for the taking today, and the city that has everything has something for everyone!  Go caving under the city streets or make like a princess and wander the castle district, shop till you drop then relax in the thermal baths as twilight falls or grab some goodies from the local market and head out to beautiful Margret Island for a picnic - there’s loads to do and your guide will arm you with all the info you need to make the most of your time in this awesome city.

Plitvice National Park

Day 7: Budapest – Plitvice

From the city streets to a watery wonderland, today we’ll head from Budapest to Plitvice National Park.  Stopping for a swim at Lake Balaton en-route, we’ll visit the Balkan Open Air War Museum for some local history before heading to the park for sunset, ready for a BBQ dinner and an evening chilling in a truly stunning part of the East, with a feel, look and culture all its own.

Open War Museum

Day 8: Plitvice – Split

Wake up to cascading waterfalls, turquoise lakes and the cleanest, freshest air in the East as we leave our bungalows (right in the centre of the park) to explore the stunning scenery before the crowds descend.  In the early afternoon we’ll get on the road towards Split, for a gorgeous drive along the Croatian coast towards the cosmopolitan town of Split, and the last awesome night of our trip.

Girl by the sea

Day 9: Split

Our trip comes to an end…don’t forget to check out our Croatia Island Hopper or One Way Sail or our awesome Ottoman or Bohemian Treks; all depart Split on Saturday morning and link perfectly with the Classic Rhapsody.
